Post-Op Crowns

Post-Crown Care Instructions

Hey, it was great seeing you today. We want to be sure you’re completely happy with your crown and have a healthy recovery, so here’s a few tips.

Test Your Bite

Sometimes when you’re numb, it can be tricky to find your normal bite. Your crown should not feel uncomfortable while chewing or talking. If anything does feel off with your bite, just let us know so we can make an adjustment.

Monitor Your Comfort

It’s normal to have some discomfort or sensitivity around the area for a few days, but if it lasts longer than two weeks, please give us a call.

Maintain Your Crown

We want to be sure that your new crown lasts for years to come, so be sure to continue to brush and floss while maintaining your routine hygiene visits with us.

If you have any concerns at all, please don’t hesitate to call us at (770) 458-3600.
